Free for all

A free for all post is a hodgepodge of little notes, ramblings, feelings, and short neuroses I have had the past week. I didn’t have the time to blog, more so come up with a coherent post to talk about. It normally takes me ample time to focus and be done with a blog post but I’m telling you, I couldn’t at this moment. If I do have one though, it’s probably allowed only for sleep. But I promise this won’t be a habit.

1. Sometimes I resent employment. Sure it pays the bills and takes you places, but it never allows you to do things at your time’s wanting. Like now; if I wasn’t employed I would’ve been schlepping at my living room’s way to the live broadcast of the Oscars. Or taking off and having a summer getaway. That’s right, I need a break. “When you get older, your heart dies.”

2. Gotta new “alarm clock” installed outside my apartment this morning. Incredibly, it starts exactly at 6 AM but never snoozes. How was it? For the most part, I detest it; it drives me insane, chrissakes. It also contributes to noise pollution, which I am all against. Imagine the plethora of awfulness this one may intentionally add. Or was it that I never want my sleep to be interrupted?

3. Kulas is sad. He wants spaghetti today but Tibor does not want to buy him one. Kulas said that it is customary for a newcomer to buy everyone spaghetti. Tibor is nice but smart. He knew that Kulas is only tricking him into submission. Tibor laughs at the idea. It’s stupid and pathetic. He wouldn’t have any of it. Kulas will remind him tomorrow.

Best things are not free (HAIKU)

Best things are not free
Why condoms are an issue
Not that effective

Nice hugs and kisses
From someone you don’t like much
A curse all around

Song’s lying to you
Said by girl who got it all
She is a Jackson

World peace is not free
Countries give the highest bid
Peace’s economy

Love’s always not free
When material things surface
It's lovers defeat

Best things are not free
Says that price tag on TV
iPhone, laptop, all

Or to tour the world
Learn cultures, experience
Needs much currency

Worst is how we live
Asks hefty amount to wit
The best life we dream
